Opening up a world of discovery just right for children with autism and their families.

Grand Rapids Children's Museum in Michigan partners with area organizations and individuals to create Connor's Friends: An Evening for Children with Autism. This free program is designed to provide appropriately planned sensory-integrated surroundings for children with autism to explore. Exhibits elements focus on physical, cognitive and spiritual development through sensory exploration. The museum is a 2008 Universal Design for Learning Award recipient.

A Tool For Connecting Children and Families to Nature
ACM welcomes childen's museums and community organizations that work with children to download this resource and work together to create experiences that connect children and families to nature.

Miles and Banjo, hosts of PBS Sprout's "Let's Go Show," know there's no better place to play and discover how real things work than children's museums. Visit the
"Let's Go Show" Discoveries signpost to learn about wheels, paper, clouds and more from children's museum experts.

ACM is grateful to the following Major Supporters.
