Learning Facilitator Central Registry
Learning Facilitators are the guides who lead early childhood teachers and adults working with children through the 12 Mind in the Making Modules. Learning Facilitators must have experienced the Modules first as participants and received special preparation on how to facilitate the Modules, sponsored by Families and Work Institute (FWI) and a designated Lead Agency.
Upon successful completion of participating in and then facilitating the Modules, Learning Facilitators are then entered into FWI's national registry and authorized to share the Modules with early childhood teachers in center and home-based programs. Some Learning Facilitators can move on to become designated as "Master Learning Facilitators" after a process that involves a review of their Module facilitation by FWI and/or the Lead Agency. Master Learning Facilitators are certified to provide "Train the Trainer" Institutes throughout the nation. For consistency, we use the words Learning Facilitator on this website and in the Module Guides, but this term can refer to either a Learning Facilitator, a Master Learning Facilitator, or even a Higher Education Learning Facilitator. Please refer the "Guidelines" tab in the Facilitator log-in menu of this website for detailed certification and implementation procedures. OK Mind in the Making Lead Agency is the Community Service Council of Greater Tulsa, 16 East 16th Street, Suite 202, Tulsa, OK. 74119. Phone: 918-585-5551, Fax: 918-585-3285, www.csctulsa.org.
